Post a climate review – and get a chance to win $ 2,500

Posting a climate review on We Don’t Have Time can have a positive impact and drive change.
It can also be good for your wallet.
This year, the best climate reviews will be awarded a total sum of 5,000 USD. And the winners will be invited up on stage in front of millions of viewers.

Climate reviews are an essential part of We Don't Have Time. By using the power of many, the members of the network can influence businesses, organizations, politicians and world leaders to increase the speed of the climate transition.
Climate Love is given to those who take great climate action.
Climate Ideas are created to suggest new climate-friendly solutions.
Climate Warnings are sent to urge bad practices to stop.
To boost even more engagement, the We Don’t Have Time Foundation last year instituted a grant for the best climate reviews of the year. The foundation is the main shareholder in the limited company (WeDontHaveTime AB), which operates the network with the same name.
”We cannot solve this unless we work together. Our community is actively driving change and encouraging business and leaders to take immediate climate action”, says David Olsson, co-founder of We Don't Have Time.
This video shows how simple it is to get started.

When a climate review reaches 100 agrees or more, We Don't Have Time reaches out to the company, organization or public figure and ask for a reply.
But do the targeted recipients actually respond? Yes, the We Don’t Have Time community has so far successfully initiated over 100 climate dialogues with companies and organizations, including the governments of Brazil and Norway, and corporate giants like Facebook, Amazon, Shell, Volvo and Tesco.
”We see very clearly that more and more companies choose to join the dialogue. Many of them reply in a way that shows that they are actually listening to the feedback and taking it in. That’s very encouraging”, says David Olsson.
Last year's winners of the awards for best climate reviews were presented during the Exponential Climate Action Summit on September 24, which was broadcast live to more than 8 million people in 100 countries.

”What’s new for this year’s awards is that we will invite the winners to join us digitally on stage at the Exponential Climate Action Summit IV, which will be broadcast live during COP26 in November”, says David Olsson. ”We will also invite the companies or organizations that were targeted in the climate reviews, to keep the dialogue going.”
Honorable mentions will be given to climate reviews that did not make it all the way to the winners' podium, but still deserves some extra attention. The creators of those reviews will be invited to the event as well.
How to participate:
1. Download the We Don’t Have Time app or use the Web app to create an account.
2. Post your climate review and share it on all your social media platforms.
3. If more than 100 people agree to your Idea, Love, or Warning, you’ve made it to the finals. Now you have the chance to win up to 2,500 USD.
4. A jury will examine all climate reviews and decide which ones have the greatest potential to create real change. The winners will be presented on stage during COP26.
The best climate review will receive a grant of 2,500 USD. The second best will receive 1,500 USD and the the bronze medalist 1,000 USD.
Good luck, everyone!

Driving thru Arizona and seeing all the dry rivers and lakes is sad and disheartening. Arizona and New Mexico have been in a drought for over 20 years. Why is this not being addressed? Why are there no trees planting initiatives happening in the Southwest. Would it not benefit the climate to grow trees and restore the natural resources that once made these majestic states even more beautiful. Would the planting of trees help restore the rain and snow to the mountain tops??

Hi Zero Panik, I suggest you make a climate warning about this matter, just search for the relevant local or fedearl authority who is responsible for tree plantation in these state, tell them the condition you have observed and question them about their performance.

Great suggestion! And if I may add, sometimes when it seems that nothing is happening, actually small grassroots organizations are working hard with these issues but struggle to communicate about their work. Writing a climate review could help them going public!

Distinguished Eco Colleagues, It is a good and sad fact that over 15 percent of all energy use is by internet and social media. Some useful some waste. With digital divide and hegemony, how will we meet Climate Resilient Lifestyle is a challenge. There is one solution, I have lived through and proud of. Eco Sense is Cost Free and is a real cultural heritage of any sustainable Invividual and society. One cannot be a Climate "Head Print" with artificial dye and mammals derived cosmetics. Polluter pays must be the order of the day.I am fond of natural hair models and headfulnesss in public life. This is my climate action review. At home, use 16 ecological engineering practices since 12 years. They are solar and wind for home lighting, kitchen biogas, wet land for grey water, daily dump compost plant for wet waste, borewell direct recharge, road side trees cost free rainwater recharge, granite drain check wall, medicinal plants at home, filler roof slab, hollow clay block building and other. At professional level 33.5 years served in the planning design, construction and maintenance Engineer for Space Centres in India. They are of 0.1M to 1MLD tertiary treatment of domestic waste water plants. Each having a three year repayment. They are now living through as eco engineering practices at Space centres in India. Coordinated with the help and support of family, colleagues since 1988 four eco education models zero cost, three on site and one virtual model implemented in 2020 lockdown for 5-9 Std students with a handhold by simple e mail or snail mail. One model Ecological and Environmental Studies by Students EESS 1988 was cited as one of the 20 best eco education guide by Earth Day Network 2000. Eco Sense is Cost Free. This is communicated with no expectations but sharing to say. It is possible to change positively. Living with eco sense is the best reward. Quite happy as a pensioner. Wish to continue hand holding youths in space ecoliteracy for life time. I am now 64 yrs, and have survived over 35 years as a popular Science writer activist and a Community resource person in ecological practices. This is in addition as a Scientist Engineer ground support for space Program in India. During lockdown, more than ever, my hands are magnets which segregate domestic solid waste at source and save over 30 percent water in washing utensils everyday. Use high pH and no RO water.
