We’re pleased with the progress made since the start of our partnership. Since the launch in July, Tesco and Loop have delivered thousands of online grocery orders to a total of 526 different towns and cities across the UK. Every shop means fewer pieces of single use plastic in customers’ homes. The next stage of the partnership will see Loop and a number of reusable products introduced into Tesco stores. We will be releasing more news on this and details of how the partnership is going later in the year.

The trouble with "Deposits" is, its effectively a permanent loan to huge multinational Monopolies, sometimes from those that can least afford it.

I hope that stays and expands outward too. We all have to get familiar with doing things we take for granted differently. Some will take some getting used to, some will be easier to accustom to. If you don’t bring your own containers this would be the next option or alternative!

Of what materials are the reusable containers comprised?

Good Club (www.goodclub.co.uk/) are rolling out a closed-loop initiative in the UK for sustainable ambient products which is well worth checking out!

This is a good Initiative, however these MNCs are failing to role these out in our poor countries, yet we suffer most this plastic effect.
