Do you want businesses and world leaders to act on the climate crisis? We Don't Have Time makes it easy for you to engage in a climate dialogue and influence their actions.
Here's how it works.
https://youtu.be/1ENICTSi4c0
WHO WE ARE
We Don't Have Time is the world's largest media platform for climate action. By working together, we can speed up the transition to a fossil-free future. Our growing community of more than 100 000 members is a diverse crowd of business leaders, scientists, academics, journalists, activists, and engaged citizens from over 180 countries.
We Don't Have Time invites companies, governments, organizations, startups, and NGOs around the world to join as partners to engage in a climate dialogue on our platform. We regularly invite our partners and members to join our solution-oriented broadcasts and global no-fly summits that reach millions of viewers on social media.
Thanks to our amazing network of members and followers that help us share and spread our content, we have a monthly social media reach of 200 million. And we continue to grow.
HOW THE REVIEW SYSTEM WORKS
It’s hard to make a difference on your own. It’s easy if we are many. This is why we have created the climate review system. Members of our community send Climate love to encourage great climate action, Climate ideas to suggest better ways of doing things, and Climate warnings to urge bad practices to stop.
Each time a company, organization, or leader receives a Climate love or a Climate Warning it affects their climate score. This enables customers and other stakeholders to evaluate these leaders and organizations based on their climate action and solutions or lack thereof. It also encourages these organizations and leaders to do better. No one wants a bad score.
OPEN FOR CLIMATE DIALOGUE
We Don't Have Time has 400 partnering companies and organizations who are communicating their climate action on our platform and actively seeking your opinion. Every time these Climate Dialogue partners receive a climate review, We Don't Have Time plants a tree. In other words: The more active you are in the app, the bigger our collective impact. The climate score of UNDP in March 2022. Because UNDP is a Climate Dialogue partner to We Don't Have Time, a tree is planted for each climate review sent to the organization.
HOW TO GET A REPLY
When a climate review gets 50 agrees, We Don't Have Time reaches out to the recipient and asks for a reply. The more agrees, the harder we work to ensure we get a dialogue going.
This really works. Every week, our community gets replies from companies, organizations, and leaders that have chosen to join the dialogue.
Part of the climate dialogue between Shell and the We Don't Have Time community, after Shell was given a Climate warning.
You can make a big difference by agreeing to others' climate reviews and sharing them on social media. You will be alerted when the recipient responds, and when that happens you can join the dialogue in the comment section. Find all climate reviews here. HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN CLIMATE REVIEW
1. Click on the green pen to create a post.
Where to find the green pen button in the mobile and desktop version of the app.
2. Choose Climate Love if you want to praise good climate actions, Climate Idea to suggest a climate-friendly solution, or Climate Warning if you want to urge bad practices to stop.
3. Write your review. Choose a recipient by typing in the name of the company, organization, government or public person in the "Find account" search field. Add a picture if you want to, but make sure you have the right to publish it. You can also add a link to a source that provides more background to your review. Links to Youtube videos will be automatically embedded in the review.
4. Press "Post". Your climate review is now published. It can be read, commented on, and shared by all other members of We Don't Have Time.
5. Share your climate review on other social media platforms to create a bigger impact. And don't forget to invite your friends to sign up on We Don't Have Time.

We believe that important things can be done to reduce and correct climate change. Just as we were able to present ideas and plans and implement them to relieve water stress, control huge floods, remove very salty water, prevent evaporation of dam lake water and reduce air temperature. So we can.

Mozambique is one of the countries affected by great tropical cyclones such as Gombe, Kenneth, Idai, Ana and Eroise. Needs a quick intervention to mitigate this catastrophic phenomenon.

It would be very helpful when writing a Climate Love or Climate Review post if the search engine allowed you to enter the relevant web address, as an alternative to the name of the company or organization. The reference list of names that your site uses seems to exclude a lot of innovative small companies that deserve praise, which I have often found frustrating. There is also a problem if the entity has several alternative names or is easy to misspell.

If you write a URL into the search field without the www part (e.g. wedonthavetime.org) the relevant profile will show up if the website is in our database.

@Adam_Wallin Thanks for the speedy reply. Unfortunately, that still doesn't work, even though I am looking at the company website. How is the WDHT database compiled?

@alayne_perrott You can send me an email at marine.stephan@wedonthavetime.org and I can create a profile for the company or organization you wish to send a climate love to

You ask "do you want to be part of the solution?" How could your app be aktered to cater for the following? It does not give a voice to an innovative option coming from those excluded from communities, groups, organisations, institutions - society and who have no chance to gather "100 likes" because they are totally "socially isolated", do not even get to meet people like them. That kind of voice is systematically drowned in the popularity noise of other voices and remains unheard, and not included in solutions "for all".
•
97 w
Anyone can gather 100 likes 😊 all you need is a phone and an internet connection. If your post is interesting, people will react. There is no need for having your own network. We are here to give a voice to everyone. Please feel free to share about our platform to those you think have something to share about the Climate!
•
97 w
@audeboulord you are wrong: not "everyone" can gather 100 likes, and not every option is taken into account, even though it does nothing to reduce all the solutions. If you are actually open to a voice and option completely out-of-the-box, them let me know how I can share it with the people who choose which to promote and award means of implementation to a research-based experiment meant to cater for those who are excluded from society. They are the forgotten population when people claim to have solutions "for all"; they are an invisible population that cannot physiologically thrive in the Civilised-Societal lifestyles. Parts of medicine and cognitive psychology have evidence supporting this option and determining this exclusion. Link to upload the option I found ?

@dr_marika_bouchon they can download the App We Don't Have Time.

@dr_marika_bouchon On We Don't Have Time, it is pretty easy to gather 100 likes on your climate love and warning if the post is of interest to the We Don't Have Time community. We love having new ideas, and out-of-the-box solutions to solve the climate crisis. The only "blocker" I would think of is the fact that you need access to the internet and a phone/computer in order to post your climate solution on We Don't Have Time. Otherwise, everyone is welcome here! And why don't you post these climate solutions? You could write climate reviews on behalf of the "forgotten population"!
•
97 w
@marine_stephan ok. Post my idea... Where? I understand little of your platform, merely react to prompts on my phone. Please give instructions from opening the app. Second: I have little to say about the companies, their laudable efforts work for the Civilised-Sedentary Societal system of large numbers concentration - the statistical majority of humans. My motivation is not to value/devalue the needs of most; I respect them. Just wish those of the population who don't thrive in that world were also respected, not imposed majority ways. My option is complementary, not exclusive. I will post if you tell me how. My

@dr_marika_bouchon You can post your idea on We Don't Have Time. Read this article (https://app.wedonthavetime.org/posts/0dffd008-9a9e-4926-9fd7-e564263a0259), it will explain to you how to use the platform and how to post reviews. The idea is to have as many solutions as possible because there is not one way to solve the climate crisis, but many and we need everyone on board!
