Last weekend absolutely was greatest weekend for Kenyans and world in general year for Safari Rally enthusiasts in Kenya and beyond as all roads and traffic headed to Naivasha. The race that has been out of the scene for 19 years following it's scrubbing off by the late Kenya's second president Hon Daniel Arap Moi in 2002 made a remarkable come back . And the World Rally Championship has come back with big bang and has made a permanent mark on the land by kick starting a 19 million tree planting project in various parts of the country such as in schools and forest zones to commemorate the big event's years long absence that had fans craving for.... It is indeed worth a praise as it is nurturing our environments. The incumbent president Hon Uhuru Kenyatta has indeed worked it out to ensure that the race makes a return and going by his manifesto as he went seeking for the office he vowed to bring back the lost and faded glory and true to his words and promise the grand come back of wrc is worth noting. In such times of climate adversities where forests have been greatly worn out, carbon emissions experienced from industries and Fossil fuels the exercise is reckoning as the trees will aid in sucking carbon upon growth... But am thinking in future WRC you should come up with a new inventive ways where we can have rallies that can use electric cars or solar powered ones,it can be interesting too and more worth to spectate. Still despite I was a spectator I was deeply concerned about our wild animals welfare, and maybe the stress we brought to them in those natural habitant of theirs, like noise was too much, from cars, human beings, helicopters etc... What can be done in future to avoid such stress to all types of animals, birds, insects, reptiles, etc. And still all of us co-exist together with our activities? Ultimate care and love for nature is the new norm as we're all affected by the climate change. More details read below-:) https://ke.kcbgroup.com/about-us/news-room/sports/wrc-safari-greening-project-marks-world-environment-day-by-planting-trees-at-kasarani-stadium

Imagine a world where all the raw material in products are digitally traced and efficiently recycled, removing the need for destructive mining. Where recylers have replaced miners and waste has replaced the traditional mines. Cling Systems accelerates this future by developing the first online mine and is targeting the fastest growing e-waste problem. Cling's B2B market platform is the first scalable B2B market platform for batteries from used electric vehicles. We connect manufacturers, workshops and dismantlers with re-manufacturers and recyclers, and provide full life cycle traceability. The team with experience from Northvolt, Volvo Cars, VOI, Ragn-Sells is uniquely capable to succeed.

Recycling everything that is out there! Not just lithium but all of it. If you can get this platform working for one thing, why not all the rest too? Can you imagine how much has been abandoned? Iron? Copper? It's just all too much isn't it! This has been on my mind for months now! Thank you!

I wish several media could emulate this kind of informative reporting... After reading below article as same as more from their archives. As a reader you get a clear picture how Sweden and Swedes has taken the seriousness of greening their environment and their journey toward climate netraulity by 2045. Wish all governments of the world could up their effort as Sweden does...And it could be a great win for our planet. https://sweden.se/climate/sustainability/10-ways-to-a-greener-future

But Sweden in general are not good. What they’re doing with biomass, as well as their loopholes and creative accounting as Greta always puts it. I mean I would love electric buses where I live but it’s the overall policy that’s what really matters.

@Chris_Till Congratulations on partial progress is important psychologically to encourage continued progress. But we can never lose sight of the fact that it is not enough. Also of course giving more praise to those who are doing the best, like Costa Rica, Ghana etc. will encourage others to follow.

We will deploy to every city in Africa and connect to every home with uninterrupted power supply. People living in the rural areas with climatic weather condition of above 20degrees will enjoy completely free uninterrupted power supply while people living in area with below 20degrees will only pay a monthly subscription and enjoy unlimited power supply. First Smart Solar Initiative is for homes, businesses and organisations in both urban and rural areas across all African Countries. We produce and install solar systems digitalized with IoT technology in order regulate usage remotely and to ensure 24/7 availability of uninterrupted electricity supply. Steps to setup Step one: Site Inspection. We send our field engineers to survey the area in order to determine the climatic condition of the area as well as the level of power consumption from homes and businesses. Step two: Feasibility study of the area. The report of the survey from our field engineers will determine the capacity of solar systems that will be deployed in the area. For instance, in areas with weather temperature of above 20 degrees and electricity consumption in every home is above 7.5KVA, we will build a digital solar plant that will distribute electricity to every home and businesses in the area. We will make use of underground wiring to prevent abuse and ensure the safety of lives of people living in the area. If the analysis shows that electricity consumption in every home is below 7.5KVA, we will install a solar generator in every home with extra solar panel and batteries. Step three: Installation and Maintenance After determining the requirements, our engineers will set out to install the systems and setup a portal for the IoT technology. With the IoT technology, we can monitor and regulate usage remotely from our office to ensure the system does not down at any time.

"83 per cent” of British kids “were unable to identify a bumblebee, according to researchers who showed pictures of British wildlife and plants to 1,000 children between the age of five and 16." The Independent, 14 August 2019 Problem: If the next generation can't identify and name local wildlife how we expect them to protect and conserve some of our most important species. Solution: How might we make wildlife identification just as interesting to the younger generation as other competing activities? "Harness gamification from Pokemon Go to make wildlife identification fun and playful" So, I started to develop Wild Spy - Pokemon Go for wildlife identification as part of a UX bootcamp project. Find out more about Wild Spy here - https://uxfol.io/project/0445c4b1/Wild-Spy Please do get in touch if you are a developer and would like to help me develop this project.

Last weekend I participated in a hackathon with a friend. We worked on an app idea called Chameleon - Chameleon helps people who have lost their jobs or have been furloughed transition to a career green energy through micro learning modules on the energy sector (and later a community; mentoring; and job matching). They would be trained for the jobs for now and in the future. The initial focus is on aviation engineers because they have a lot of transferrable skills relevant to roles such as engineering roles in on and offshore wind and safety engineer at a hydrogen facility. In the UK alone there might be up to 200 thousand job losses in the aviation sector and its supply chain. In May 2020, Airline SAS cuts up to 5,000 jobs due to pandemic . Here is a video of the wireframes for the app - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5lvwvyp2S0&t=1s They are a bit basic but could be improved upon in the future.

The cars are powered by hydrogen generated by the teams who go around the world by ship to race in places that are already being affected by climate change, to raise awareness. They are not quite carbon neutral because their ship is still diesel-fuelled for the moment but that will be changing soon
