This corrected climate sensitivity constant of 4.8 degrees Celsius also means that not only are our worst climate change fears confirmed. It also means that when you also include all the factors listed in reasons 1-5 further below, almost all of the IPCC's climate change consequence severity, timeframes and global fossil fuel reduction targets are underestimated by up to 60%. The IPCC has been lying to us for years. You can not bargin with science .. it would appear we have a massive problem on out hands. What has been on my heart is that we must force transition right now .. we must force global governments to stop giving trillions to the fossil fools and transition to all available technologies right now. https://www.facingfuture.earth/20000-toxic-sites-in-sagging-arctic-permafrost/?fbclid=IwAR2EtO99X8fBkzJdlnXDP1ck1K_VJ0iGQoD2zLFtaHs1SUyV8d1_s0XKVG4
20,000 Toxic Sites in Sagging Arctic Permafrost - Facing Future
20,000 Toxic Sites in Sagging Arctic Permafrost By Robert Hunziker New studies show the Arctic heating up 4-times the overall rate of global warming. This startling rate in one of the most sensitive environments in the world could trigger toxic disasters in up to 20,000 industrial contamination sites. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the Northern Hemisphere … Continue reading "20,000 Toxic Sites in Sagging Arctic Permafrost"

The urgency of the climate crisis cannot be underestimated. We must recognize that we can't negotiate with science; the evidence is clear. Transitioning to sustainable technologies is a global imperative. Redirecting funding from fossil fuels to clean energy is vital for our planet's future. The article's emphasis on addressing toxic sites in Arctic permafrost underscores the immediate need for action to mitigate the climate's severe impacts.

MAJOR NEWS COMING OUT OF BRITISH COLUMBIA The B.C. government and BC Parks Foundation have teamed up to provide $300 million to protect old-growth forests across the province — a move environmental groups have described as a critical step in turning local economies away from unsustainable logging. Praise for the new green funding came from all sides. Ken Wu, executive director of Endangered Ecosystems Alliance, said the new fund will put First Nations “in the driver's seat.”“If you don't have the funding for the nations… it’s like asking them to jettison their primary source of revenues and jobs,” said Wu. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/conservation-funding-british-columbia-1.7009241
New $300M fund aims to protect old-growth forests, other natural spaces in B.C. from development | CBC News
The province says its commitment of $150 million, which will be matched by the B.C. Parks Foundation, will be used to purchase and protect land from development or industrial activities, such as logging, by designating them as parks or Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas.

The $300 million investment in protecting old-growth forests in British Columbia is a significant step in addressing climate change. This partnership between the B.C. government and the BC Parks Foundation is commendable, as it not only helps conserve vital ecosystems but also promotes sustainable economic development by empowering First Nations. It reflects the growing recognition of the importance of preserving natural environments in the fight against climate change.

Here is a video created by several of my fellow scientists. Facing Future is the creation if Stuart Scotts. They are here to tell the truth, which happens to be terrifying. Personally living through several fire seasons it is difficult not to be emotional. The #climatecrisis is in control and humanity is 1,000 % reactionary. Yes we are seeing inovation to help solve the #climatecrisis however in order to survive we will need to know what mitigation is required to do so. Blessings to all who have courage to deal with this massive threat. https://youtu.be/6goo4SapW90

Thought this would be a good video to watch. My dear friend Stuart Scott ( now passed ) is the gentleman on the left. Stuart was instrumental @ introducing Greta to the UN . My takeaway is that we have to do new stuff to push the agenda of saving our only home Planet Earth. Please note there is NO Carbon budget as per the IPCC THE budget was used up in 1987 .. this means that the IPCC is fudging numbers. This is why the urgency to get off of fossil fuels and increases the urgency 1,000 fold. https://youtu.be/GiD04TRwebQ
