Students at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) built a car almost completely out of recycled waste. Twenty two students have worked on the car for one and a half year. The car is amongst others from used PET bottles, and plastics from the oceans. https://nltimes.nl/2020/10/08/eindhoven-students-built-car-mostly-recycled-waste

Denmark has passed a law that by 2030 70% of CO2 emissions have been reduced relating to the 1990 levels. In a detailing plan Denmark has proved that both climate and welfare goals can be guaranteed. According to this Reuters article. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-climate-change-denmark/denmark-we-can-slash-co2-by-70-in-a-decade-and-still-have-welfare-idUSKBN26K27E

IKEA sells more than 1 billion meat balls every year. Now they have launched a vegan alternative to the meat balls. They are even 2 euro cheaper than the meat variant (in the Netherlands). Let's hope the customers massively switch to the vegan balls. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/ikea-meat-balls-plant-based-sustainable-alternative-a9622201.html

Denmark has passed a new and ambitious climate law that really sets SMART goals, and the mechanisms to make sure that those goals (with a high probability) will be achieved. A cooperation has been setup to promote biological farming and stimulating biodiversity. People can just simply join the cooperation and buy m2 soil. With the collected money the cooperation buys farm land which it rents out to biological farmers. So every Dutch citizen can simply become the owner of biological farming soil, and help stimulate biodiverse farming.
