I’m lucky enough to work with Jeffrey on ScarabTech and play with him at Afrikaburn and The Dung Beetle Project. I’ve never met anyone braver and more committed to covering the stories that affect our planet. If you’re new to his work and Alliance Earth, start with his series of articles for National Geographic as they expose oil drilling in the Okavango basin. https://api.nationalgeographic.com/distribution/public/amp/animals/article/oil-drilling-fracking-planned-okavango-wilderness

I was recently at a plastics conference in South Africa. Coca-Cola had a giant stand and an army of PR manning their booth. They showed off a new “reusable” thicker PET bottle as their example of how they’re focussed on improving their plastic waste footprint. This isn’t even a real product. Coca-Cola continure pushing their single use plastic production and making it a consumer problem. It’s our job to recycle… even though they know recycling is a joke.

This is great, we need such broad people to enlighten people on the need to take climate action.
