Signs of #realistic outcome from electric car sales markets of 2022, all that is fancy and big may not sell. #Functional multipurpose #smaller / utility vehicles, smaller vehicles such as ebikes, trikes, delivery vans, battery leasing, short distance urban / rural, commercial vehicles, powered by hybrid mini / #microgrids are more popular and uses less material / smaller KWh batteries. Very similar effect will be in place almost every country on Earth. However re-imagining towns / cities built with bicycles, less cars on roads + increase in natural capital + biodiversity will be wealthiest in this and next decades. Except USA where old #Stroads #infrastructure and consumer mindset might go for more costly larger vehicles - depending on multiple factors if the local industry gets boost from advanced materials & tech on top of #investment bills like #IRA2022. #Cleantech #Electric #Realism #EV #evcharging #batteries #markets #sales https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/04/upstart-chinese-electric-car-brand-delivered-more-cars-than-nio-in-2022.html

Shout out to report by DW about Ghana's climate disaster created by fashion dumping. Notes from DW News report (Jan 8, 2022) : Textile waste is having a devastating impact on Ghana's beaches. The country's coast is littered with the rotting fabric of old clothes from the global north. Every day, 160 tons of clothes arrive in Ghana - and a whole economy has developed around second hand clothes. But very little of the garments are usable. In Ghana, more than 70 tons of fabric a day end up in landfills, presenting an ecological disaster. The rich economies of North send old used cloths to countries like Ghana, 40% of that goes to waste as its not even useful or soiled. A total disrespect for Humans, Earth & Earthlings while clothing industry iconic brands, ad/media, social media influencers are rolling in millions$, billion$ of wealth by creating stupidity of fast fashion. Ghana's environment is damaged, its still worthy of getting all the mess undone. Mitigation acts & planning to reduce extreme climate changes Reality of year 2021: Typhoons, tornadoes, wildfires, floods, draughts & of course ongoing pandemic healthcare havoc on economies & lives of generations of all ages including kids. The damage to environment, wild habitats is not even tangible like human societies calculate with a $ value. Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Island countries, Arctic and so on... 1) Heavy rains & floods - cities / towns need to stop pouring cement everywhere & idiotic modern architecture that is preventing the natural soil conditions as a sponge for flood waters 2) Create local task forces of trained resident groups to help each other with emergency kits etc. 3) Re-plan, Re-structure food growing from modern agriculture to permaculture which is nature friendly 4) Use more ancient wisdom which is proven & working since centuries in Japan, Amazonian region to create, restore / repair, maintain permaculture, water harvesting, variety of crops etc. 5) Create preservation action laws & plans for forests along-with native communities to prevent wild fires Older forests are not a property, they are the lifesavers for all Earthlings & Earth. 6) Partner with us to introduce new income streams, re-skilling, up-skilling for crafts / engineering with TReewards incentives for those communities & groups who act faster to restore nature 7) Millions of people, MSMEs, ecopreneurs can benefit from quick action, this impacts positively to wrecked economies by extreme weather and pandemics Links: https://weather.com/photos/news/2021-12-20-super-typhoon-rai-images https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2021/12/28/brazil-bahia-floods-jussiape-rivers-pkg-intl-ldn-vpx.cnn Pic: Desiray Cartledge, 3, stands in the rubble of her house, destroyed by a tornado in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, USA on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021. Good leading example by Belgium! At Akiimo, our involvement in different Ecocide law alliances, we believe this movement is going faster in smaller economies. As per data & news, it looks little slower however public demand can put lot of pressure on federal & province / state / town level laws. These actors should be held immediately accountable to prevent further damage: 1) Major economies that are industrial, involved in fossil fuels, destructive farming, deforestation, relentless construction (asphalt, concrete etc) 2) Bankers, funds & insurance companies that are directly & indirectly profiteering from environment damage should be held responsible for past, present & future damage 3) Private, public & state owned enterprises should be held responsible for past, present & future damage 4) Prevention of Ecocide should be tightly regulated & watched by open source independent people's org not by the same police, beuracrats & lawmakers (old guards not required - as they are corrupt) Also required are fast decisive plans, regulations & watch the watchmen type of engagements across Planet Earth; also make it globally & universally enforced on human societies across #Earth Plus humans that are in outer space business too! Otherwise in few years we will see more garbage in Space, on Moon & Mars. Portugal shut down its last remaining coal plant over weekend, ending the use of the polluting material for electricity generation. The move comes 9 years before Portugal's targeted end of the use of the fossil fuel by 2030. The process began in 2017 when the country signed a declaration to exit coal use at COP23. Belgium, Austria and Sweden are 3 more European countries to have already stopped using coal for power generation. Again this proves 2040, 2050, 2060 etc false promises are still dumb statements by most industrial country leaders in COP26, which also proves they are sold out to fossil cartel$, corrupt & not transparent to #Earthlings lives of any country including their own citizens, businesses & MSMEs those pay taxes & abide by the govt. rules. (B) #Biodiversity = US $10+ Trillions increasing opportunities across Earth by / before 2030. ($ number updated on Nov 19th-2021, see notes below) Good Fast Climate Action Tools & Solutions for every action community on Planet #Earth Connect on Twitter: @ JoinEcoAction or comment below if you want to jump in new blue green economies. vs (A) Old fossil capitalism trying to control everything with political & banking support If you are in (B) for #Biodiverse economy creation & can motivate / build community of 1000s in your area, drop us a line, we have 100s of ways, free resources & decentralized incentive programs coming up faster. Use Twitter: @ JoinEcoAction IMP Notes: 1) Preferred Age group: Youth by age & Anyone with action + will power! Also, you don't need a PhD or elite class IVY school degrees to take action or become a community leader in your town. 2) You have to be action leader and / or community leader, permaculture, gardening, (small, medium or or large business) identifiable person & motivated to do things faster. 3) Trolls, Beaurocracy or Political speech givers, People looking at this as entertainment because their life is boring etc etc. stupidity are NOT welcome Here goes: PART A) a bit of history & compilation of communities fighting since decades A higher % of global south countries are experiencing climate crisis since decades. Recorded true life stories of 50million+ migrants are compiled here. Events are not clearly record before 2000, since social apps & media was still mostly on print media. https://coveringclimatenow.org/flight-for-their-lives/ These events have caused & still causing migration within their countries, loosing income, farms, health, continue to fight for their lives. Ignored by capitalists & monarchies, social divides under the name or religion or tribes etc. 2015-2021 - when rich countries started "acknowledging" climate driven events at their door steps & loosing money, suddenly mainstream media also "woke up". However, rich countries are still controlled by Fossils & capitalists that looks for profit numbers in everything & they can restore things with funds. Funny thing that most of these billionaires and political leaders are in their 60s & 70s. As usual ignoring the rest of generations. PART (B) The global south however have no funds or $ parity buying power, this has to change faster in 2-4 years. Decentralized finance industry is rapidly taking actions on this, however the older capitalists community & banking systems are trying their best to create hurdles by using all means - social media to buy likes from click banks, laws, regulations, lobbies, sports club buying etc. etc. Non-profit orgs are sprouting to greenwash things overnight. & we all seen COP26 was crowded by lobbies. Good news is that, decentralized finance industry is growing on blockchains and even corporates are using them now, lots of traditional funds are looking at zero middlemen (aka bankers) to invest in social impact - that includes #biodiverse #zero emission towns. Europe of course leads that, US & Latin American towns have taken their own decisions within days. Its time that local city & town / village communities take things in their own hands, create biodiverse towns, let go of all ICE vehicles, plastics & GHGs, use bikes / EV bikes / EV cargo bikes / help local communities by using ancient wisdom to live with nature rather than against it. US town examples: Ithaca, NY state declared decarbonized electric city $100m raised for phase I https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/04/ithaca-is-first-us-city-to-begin-100percent-decarbonization-of-buildings.html EU town examples: multiple https://www.euronews.com/green/2021/11/10/car-free-futures-how-european-cities-are-experimenting-with-green-transport Rest of the world that have no $ or EURO power: Rely on traditional wisdom, build your own communities action, use & promote local creativity, material such as bamboo, straws, clay to create products, roads, #Biodiversity etc. Decentralized finance industry is crossing $2Trillion and will support this decarbonization faster as more economies getting onto direct action & ownership of action. This will surely help billions of people to live with #nature & #bioverse with new income & bioproducts, creativity, learning & healthy life for #Earth all #Earthlings Why we updated $ (Nov 19, 2021): Corporates, markets & communities taking things in their hands. 1) US house passed climate & social action support of $1tn+ 2) Asia Pacific food from plants & biodiversity will cross $8Tn by 2030 (Rabobank report) 3) LATAM, Europe - growing awareness & community action going beyond $2Tn+ 4) Canada BC area might need more billions in support for the recent devastations 5) Inflation in financial markets no longer will depend on tiny plans, also tech companies & more private insurance players are in full swing for supporting climate action by phasing out their own business dependency on fossils 6) Broken cross border supply chains are already looking at localizing product making, that number of near consumer product making etc. is still a unknown $ number that will reduce shipping emissions by investing in local doughnut economies.

New Italian Dolce Vita Style: Trains!! not aircrafts or cars All govts should make electric buses, city trains, mono rails, high speed intercity trains as high priority than building new airports for domestic as well as intra-continental routes. Effects of high speed trains in Italy including real data stats! (vs Domestic Aviation that creates more carbon & anxiety for few hours of travel) Trenitalia 2019 data: number of trains on the lines had doubled, passenger numbers on its high-speed trains had rocketed from 6.5 million in 2008 to 40 million in 2018 -- and that's not including those who use Italo. 1) Number of tourists using the trains went up from 1.8 million in 2008 to 7.3 million in 2018. 2) Rome to Florence and Venice are the most popular tourist routes in the old days, have been a prime flight route. 3) Train travel is subsidized in Italy 4) 2019 data by Italy state railway Ferrovie dello Stato: passengers taking the train on the country's main business route, between Rome & Milan, ~quadrupled, from 1 million in 2008 to 3.6 million by 2018 5) 400 miles between Milan and Rome takes ~3 hrs 6) Italy has state owned Trenitalia as well as private owned high speed trains Trenitalia's fastest Frecce trains runs at 224mph. Frecce meaning "Arrows" 7) Private company: Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori, launched Italo trains in 2012, for 54 cities. 8) Italy is the only country in the world to have two high-speed train operators. 9) World's first high-speed freight service, running between Bologna and Maddaloni, in Campania, in just 3.30hrs. 10) Passengers can pick their seat when buying a ticket, and can accrue points that win them status 11) Also favorite of Climate scientist: Carlo Barbante (Director of the Institute of Polar Sciences at Venice's Ca' Foscari University) travels regularly to Rome and loves Frecciarossa train (Rossa = Red) His words: its low carbon, comfortable and safe. 12) Trenitalia high-speed trains in the fleet had doubled to 144, and in 2018, 69% of all passengers going between Rome and Milan took the train -- up 7.4% in just three years. Meanwhile air travel dipped almost 7% in the three years to 2018, with just 19.5% of the market. Definitely worth to push every govts harder to take action for electric trains & renewables for that infrastructure connected to more smaller routes! Source: CNN, Julia Buckley • 13th October 2021

I just had my car "fixed". The strip of non-working LEDs under the headlight had caused it to fail its roadworthiness test in the UK. The LEDs cannot be replaced on their own. The headlight unit cannot be repaired, so the WHOLE unit must be replaced - all the lights, the motors, the housing, the whole lot. The senseless waste blows my mind - the LEDs are probably a few pence of parts, the complete light unit is hundreds of pounds. Its made in the "East" and shipped half way round the world. Who designs a light in which you can't change "the bulb"? Answer... The car is a Kia Folk singer Pete Seeger would "turn in his grave."

Greta Thunberg & Brazilian indigenous activist Samela Awiá recently discussed things with Brazilian senate - about bad practices in clearing trees of forests in Amazon and Brazil's important role in climate action. note @ 7:01 by Samela, People only care about climate change with the environment when that affects them directly" Video link here: https://twitter.com/i/status/1436717538029756421 Samela mentioned a real fact about humans on Earth divided by "political boundaries", "hedonic money hoarding without thinking about others (aka planet damaging capitalism)", "ignorance", "all is well in my town in my little bubble", "self centric individualist billionaires" etc etc. We definitely are working to make better things for climate and environment - but the political systems have to change immediately in all countries on this planet & the consumption of fossil fuels, fossil derived products has to stop. Do NOT wait until a disaster happens in your town! A map of Americas (South - Latin Americas) estimated in 2015 - possibly have gone worse!

ASEAN region countries need to take drastic fast actions to reduce emissions. Or loose $28 Trillions of economy. Source: Deloitte report about estimated losses OR gains in South East Asia (ASEAN region). Region includes: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste & Thailand. Imp to Note, these reports missed possibly ~$5Tn positive change of inclusivity, biodiversity losses: 1) the floods due to excessive rains and property damages is a decade old story, getting more intense and no economic expert (even Deloitte) can really guide on what are the damages. 2) These countries still have larger % of people living on lowest wages informal economies which are not always included in the reports. example: 2a) workers in Philippines still live on US$80 to US$300 per month salaries, while milk and eggs can cost beyond US$1, still have to help family members. 2b) Engineering education in Indonesia is already causing shortages of experts to adopt to tech driven changes in economies. 2c) Thailand's farmer family members used to go to Scandinavian countries to earn a living by picking berries. Thailand itself can change its own agro policies & adopt to new biodiversity 3) Pandemic has damaged tourism incomes for tourist centric cities of ASEAN Thailand has specifically hit hard by losses of tourism, then recent floods in 2021 4) Before pandemic the business as usual damaged millions of ecosystems example: corals in Thailand, Forests in Indonesia (Palm monocultures damaging biodiversity) 5) People in these countries still have sporadic access to basic healthcare and inclusivity in economic uplifting. TL;DR: report writers and economists don't actually live in these countries, neither they talk to real common people, everything is estimated on an excel workbook based on formal data coming in from so called formal sources. Just after we posted how New York city can be rebuild, another devastation happened by hurricane Ida. It caused loss of lives across the gulf coast of US and US Eastern states. Our former area of ops was in Manhattan and Queens area before the team moved it to far North & in Europe, Asia, LATAM. so many good memories of Botanical gardens and the vibrant community of NYC. Our founder lived in NYC for a while, developing Akiimo, Bioverse and partnerships with different orgs to focus on environmental impact, heat island effect mitigation before starting the scale to global locations. The heat island effect of NYC metro & suburban areas was observed & recorded for years before we designed our products and the complex computing algorithms behind Bioverse ecosystem. The loss of lives and property is devastating and we surely feel the pain, as some of our team members lost many things in these recent times too. US States affected by Ida & flooding: Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia in the wake of storm flooding. Wish the local states, city / town administration and federal govt of US - can accelerate path towards rebuilding better, we are there to help. Our focus will be helping more communities through new biodiversity regrowing methods that will actually help the locals to rebuild economies better, be it a Doughnut Economy model, or DAOs and more.
