I'm writing to you from my wonderful Black Sea country - Georgia as a young voice to #COP27 as a #COY17 Country Contact point. You are also welcome to be my financial partner at COY17 & COP27. In 2015, Georgia had a big historical flood which caused a lot of damage to the city. Despite the fact that #Georgia (located in South Caucasus Mountains) has no direct effect on climate change will be affected by climate change, so my country has its own role and responsibility to tackle climate change and participate in the mitigation process by developing climate #resilient practices. I'm pleased to inform you that I am a part of the process as a young voice to COP27 through COY17 United Nations YOUNGO I am going to tell you one story. Imagine when it is hot in the summer and we are opening windows. When we have high blood pressure, we take a pill to survive. We know now what is happening with the planet Earth. We are guests on the planet Earth. Planet Earth gives us every luxury we desire and it does not complain about it. When Planet Earth is in distress, it cannot open a window or take a pill to survive, because humans cause a great deal of damage to our planet every day due to different anthropogenic factors. Now let's think about climate change. It is like a heart disease, "Ischemia" to the Earth. It has become an #influencer on our planet, becoming part of each country's daily agenda; and today, everyone is responsible for thinking about it. We need to help our planet with our small steps and actions. It is not only my part, it is also your term. If you think about how you can help, how you can take action, raise your voice, and so on, there is a chance to attend COY17, the Conference of Youth and COP27 which will be held in Sharm el Sheikh this November. I will recommend to all of you to participate in COY and COP, virtually or in person, because we are a young generation , we are powerful with our energy, mindset, and bright minds, and we need to push and convince that we are the generation of today and tomorrow. We have the right to sit and participate in decision-making because we can have an influence by awareness building, by small different actions, etc. So, it is now your chance to participate in it and be the voice of change and help planet Earth survive. Let us collaborate as "Planet doctors" to help others through our actions; be a volunteer "planet doctor" to help others and do our best.
