With inspiration from the well-known Orbital Systems shower solution, Per Eriksson began sketching an idea to make a solution for circular gray water for an entire property.
"The tests carried out in 2020 and 2021 showed very large savings, up to 60 percent for water and 90 percent for energy, because the water that is reused is already about 30 degrees warmer."
Graytec's circular solution, the Blue circle system, leads water from the shower and sink in the bathroom in a separate pipe to a purification equipment in the basement of the property.
"What comes out is water that far exceeds the Swedish Food Agency's requirements for drinking water. In addition, it lacks nutrients that prevent it from growing into bacteria and makes it soft and pleasant to shower in.
