Magic happens when key actors start functioning in alignment. However a few action takers have to come forward and to take initiatives for bringing everyone in alignment. Ensuring ease of access to the appropriate database and knowledge in right time for taking informed decision is first step towards success. But creating such an forum for exchange of knowledge on any topic is not an easy task. Creating such a forum for our oceans is more difficult. Oceans are treasure trove of our lives. Deep oceans still now absorbs 90% of global heat by keeping the earth less warm..But oceans are least studied because research on ocean is one of the least funded study area.

In this context Devocean has come forward with devotion towards ocean conservation measures. A platform has been created by Devocean, where the investors may find prospective projects, scientific information and other tools for saving humans and marine ecosystems easily. ESG ( Environmental Social Governance) and ESG funding are now being adopted by the corporates and businesses as a mandated task. Ocean conservation, building infrastructure for enhancing the unique lives protective eco-functioning of oceans, Nature Based systems like mangrove shield in sea coasts can be done under ESG. However, bridging the gap between the house, which is willing to take up an ESG activity and an project team, which is seeking support for a NBS ( Nature Based Systems) and / or a ocean based study can trigger a chain of successful impact-ful activities. Devocean is acting as this match-maker. Devocean encourage the corporates to subscribe to their forum on basis of monthly charges and select appropriate project (s) for supporting under ESG.

Devocean is devoting time and energy for creating right alignment but they also need funding support. On 3rd April webinar, Devocean team very nicely informed the attendees about their goals and dreams and appealed for funds.

Nature operates in harmony. Strengthening the Devocean shall help in thriving the nature.

Aligning projects of Devocean with NDC ( Nationally Determined Contributions), UNSDG can do a magic.
