Innovative new method of making Marine transportation sustainable!

We Don't Have Time had an amazing Dragonfly's Den entry today (November 11th) from H2YAM, who want to provide engine conversions to professional ship operators, taking them from fossil fuel combustion to H2 combustion and dramatically reducing the CO2 cost of one of the largest, legacy fossil fuel industries around. "Our mission to help maritime communities across the world... establish a sustainable balance with their ecosystems." The shipping industry currently contributes between 3-5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, yet is one of the hardest industries to reduce emissions in. This innovative piece of technological allows for a dramatic reduction in CO2 emissions from this sector without the need for a significant overhaul of its practices. It isn't just for large freighters either, it's for every kind of maritime travel! Great stuff! Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLQgXSGO1KM

Ships can be powered by wind sails and zero exhaust electric motors that can be fueled with sunshine, the wind, geothermal or ocean energy, hydrogen is highly explosive And very unstable

@daryl_cleary Hi Daryl, OK. What's about green H2-powered cars that soon will be on our roads? No bigger risk of explosion and serious casualties? If yes, so, why are car manufacturers all developing green H2 engine? All innovations starts with a statement: impossible... until it gets possible. Cheers
