I was at an expo in Dubai in March and met the amazing changemakers from the UAE https://desertboard.ae/ - they make MDF type boards from local date palm branches and leaves without cutting a single tree - the material is a carbon sink and they have a circular process in place and local manufacturing. This would have been the perfect carbon sink material for COP28 structures, but I recently asked them and it seems none of it is being used which is a big shame ..... can they be featured under your changemaker series during COP?
