[COPENHAGEN, November 15, 2023] The Fly Green Coalition, a powerful alliance of environmental visionaries and industry leaders, is thrilled to announce its launch, uniting forces to revolutionize the aviation sector's approach to sustainability. Mission and Purpose The Fly Green Coalition addresses the urgent global challenge of aviation emissions by propelling the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Through a unified front, the coalition aims to demonstrate substantial demand to SAF producers and investors, thereby accelerating production, lowering costs, and mainstreaming SAF to reduce the aviation industry's carbon footprint. Founding Partners and Visionaries Behind the Fly Green Coalition are influential figures committed to driving change. Ingmar Rentzhog, CEO and Founder of We Don't Have Time, Christian Moller Holst, CEO of Goodwings, among many other business leaders, stand at the forefront of this dynamic coalition. Ingmar Rentzhog emphasizes the essential role of the private sector in the fight against climate change, stating, "When I founded We Don’t Have Time in 2017, there was no possibility to fly without using fossil fuel. Therefore, I stayed on the ground until I managed to use fossil-free fuel when I flew to Egypt for COP27 in 2022. What surprised me is that so few people are aware that the opportunity to fly in a more sustainable way exists, and that's why we have taken the initiative to start this movement" Christian Moller Holst, CEO of Goodwings, shares his insights: "I've joined Fly Green Coalition because aviation must change now if we truly want to address the climate crisis seriously." Accelerating Transformation: A Lesson from Solar Energy Drawing inspiration from the transformative journey of solar energy, the Fly Green Coalition aims to expedite change. Like solar power, which faced criticism for its initial high costs, SAF's transformation is already underway. The Coalition is committed to quantifying demand to accelerate this process and address the immediate need for sustainable aviation practices. The Pledge for Change The Fly Green Coalition invites businesses to pledge their commitment, sharing details with Founding Partners Ingmar Rentzhog and Christian Moller Holst. This collaboration seeks to generate leads for participating businesses while fostering collective change in the aviation industry. Private Sector's Essential Role The Fly Green Coalition underscores the indispensable role of the private sector in fighting climate change. By aligning environmental advocates and industry leaders, the coalition exemplifies how collaborative efforts can drive significant change and influence sustainable practices within the aviation sector. The Fly Green Coalition invites businesses, industry stakeholders, and environmental advocates to join hands, ushering in a sustainable future for aviation. The launching event of the coalition will take place on Friday December 1st of December at COP28. The panel can be accessed online https://www.wedonthavetime.org/events/cop28-day1 For more information, please visit: https://flygreencoalition.com

SeaTrees has recently partnered with Stella McCartney, an international luxury fashion brand whos vision is that all materials will be created using regenerative systems designed to restore our planet or use close-the-loop circular materials – crafted from waste and designed to never become waste again. It is their hope that all materials can one day either biodegrade harmlessly or be captured and recycled infinitely. The brand acknowledges that its responsibility for the materials that it puts out into the world does not end at the point of sale – committing to keeping those fabrics in circulation through repair services. When products do reach their end of life, Stella McCartney is now piloting close-the-loop takeback schemes to recycle them into new materials, of which this parka is the first example. In line with this perspective, for every Stella McCartney Close-the-Loop parka sold, they are planting a mangrove tree in support of SeaTrees! With their support, we will plant and protect mangrove forest ecosystems in the Biak Island Region of West Papua Indonesia, contributing to the restoration of this vital ecosystem – one of the most biodiverse on Earth. It was previously highly degraded by human activities, with 75% of the island’s estuaries deforested.

Sustainability systems are market-based tools designed to address the most pressing social and environmental challenges of our time. They give people power to make an impact. By defining responsible practices, assessing the implementation of these practices and measuring impacts over time, sustainability systems are used in many sectors worldwide to successfully improve social and environmental performance. Market transformation drives progress on a range of global priorities like the UN sustainable development goals. Multi-stakeholder sustainability systems provide concrete guidelines and metrics to help address the environmental and social issues captured in global goals. And in doing so, they provide platforms for collective action across sectors and supply chains. We provide a range of resources to support the development and use of credible and effective sustainability systems. Our Credibility Principles provide the foundation, while our Codes of Good Practice define the technical requirements to develop and improve systems. We offer guidance materials to support credible claims management, and resources such as our Sustainability Benchmarking Good Practice Guide for organisations that are evaluating sustainability initiatives. We also support the continued improvement of sustainability systems through our membership activities. ISEAL Community Members are part of a learning community, which enables them to become more effective at achieving positive impacts. And our Code Compliant members demonstrate a rigorous approach to improvement through independent evaluation to our Codes of Good Practice.

Are you tracking ALL of your travel emissions? We've said it before, and we'll say it again. There are so many benefits to tracking your emissions as a business. Besides staying ahead of the curve in a market with more and more purpose-driven customers, talent and investment opportunities, setting targets and cleaning up your value chain emissions will help ensure that your business stays ahead of legislative requirements. When you book hotels with Goodwings, we automatically calculate your full trip emissions, but sometimes there are trips, such as daily commuting, that fall through the cracks. That's why we are happy to announce the launch of our Travel Log 🙌 The Travel Log can help you track: • Day trips (where you don't need a hotel) • Daily or regular commuting • Conferences or events (where accommodation has been pre-arranged) If you're curious to learn how the Travel Log can help you keep track of your company's emissions - small or big, we'd love to hear from you. I have just come to know about Goodwings and what they do and I thought to give them some climate love because their purpose is to help you as a client reduce your travel emission by turning your business travel to Net Zero. Besides investing in a carbon removal project to verifiably absorb as much CO2 as your travel emits, they also calculate your travel emissions, show you how to reduce them and help you with climate reports. Their platform makes it possible for you to turn every business trip into an investment in carbon removal for a low monthly fee. Thank you WDHT for choosing to partner with Goodwings this time while travelling by plane to Egypt for COP27. This means that it will able to make the trip with 100% biofuel. I know it is not an entirely emission-free trip, but will help to reduce travel emissions. Kudos! #cop27

I will travel to Egypt this weekend to host daily broadcasts from #COP27. I will be flying for the first time since I founded We Don't Have Time more than 5 years ago, and I am so pleased that me and the whole We Don't Have Time team will do it without fossil fuel. With the help of Goodwings sustainable booking service, we will be able to go there with biofuel instead. It is not cheap, and not a perfect solution. But it means a lot for me to not sponsor the fossil fuel industry and there is no reason to use fossil fuels anymore. Goodwings have recently launched biofuels, making them the first hotel booking platform to make this a viable option for businesses who want to reduce and remove their CO2 emissions. #goodwings #biofuels #SAF #COP27 Are you curious about how it works? “Goodwings is a response to the climate crisis, but it’s also a response to the ignorance of the travel industry, which has shown very little—if any—leadership in the last 15 to 20 years, ever since travel became digital,” said our CEO and founder, Christian Møller-Holst, at the STHLM +50 Climate Hub earlier this year, sharing Goodwings’ mission with thousands of viewers. “What we’ve chosen to do at Goodwings is turn the industry into a force for climate action,” he says. “When you look under the hood, online travel is not really travel; it’s advertising. Seventy percent of the revenue is being allocated to more TV commercials.” Goodwings has a different way, relying on membership fees rather than generating profit from travel bookings. Chief Mission Officer of Urb-It Hannes Skugghal, on the same panel as Christian, vouches his support for Goodwings. “In fact we’re a client of Goodwings as of yesterday. I met with your sales rep, and halfway into the pitch I basically said, ‘Well, you can stop right there. This is a no-brainer. Why should I say no?” “We are hacking the industry,” Christian explains. “And that makes us not rely on the bookings, so we’re not in a position where we’re promoting travel. We’re not encouraging people to travel unless they have to.” When members book travel through Goodwings, all the same options and prices are available as with other online travel services. “But we take the revenue, and we invest that money in projects that are verifiably removing carbon from the atmosphere—so you can reach carbon neutrality or net zero with your travels,” says Christian. “And if you’re a business, we also provide emissions data, certifications and so on.” Goodwings’ 2030 goal is to remove emissions from one billion trips, and we’re on the way to making that happen. “If we deliver on this,” says Christian, “we’ll be removing 0.8 billion tons of carbon. It’s 16 times what Denmark is emitting in a year.” The impact is enormous. And every business or individual that joins is moving us one step further in transforming the travel industry for good. If you’re a business looking to book hotels, calculate, reduce and remove your travel emissions easily, our team is ready to talk! The 2022 IPCC climate report is out today, and we are still trying to wrap our heads around it. What part of this report would you highlight? While the first working group gave us insight into climate systems, climate change and human influence on the climate, this working group has focused on the estimated impact of climate change on our society, nature and biodiversity, and how these are interconnected. So what have we learned from the 2022 report so far? 💡 IPCC has defined a solution framework called Climate Resilient Development, combining adaption and mitigation. This means thinking of climate solutions in pathways, and making sure we future-proof our climate action strategies. 💡 Globally we are making progress in adapting, but not fast enough. The report clearly states Climate Resilient Development is already challenging at a warming level of less than 1.5°C, and will become more limited by 2°C. Even temporarily exceeding this warming level will result in additional severe impacts, some of which will be irreversible. 💡 Climate, biodiversity and human society are interlinked. The report has found that climatic risks to people can be lowered by strengthening nature and biodiversity. 💡 Nature offers significant untapped potential: By restoring degraded ecosystems effectively and equitably conserving 30 to 50 per cent of Earth’s land, freshwater and ocean habitats, society can benefit from nature’s capacity to absorb and store carbon, and we can accelerate progress towards sustainable development. 💡 Relying on nature alone won’t be enough. Climate resilience requires a wide range of actions that reduce human-induced greenhouse gas emissions drastically. It also requires involvement from all parts of society - from policy makers to scientists to community actors. You can find the report and press conference link here: https://report.ipcc.ch/ar6wg2/index.html

"There are no online travel platforms that take responsibility for the emissions they co-produce when people use them to travel because they spend their revenue on advertising, 3 quarters of their revenues go into advertisement every year. We don't do that. We make money through subscriptions, and in return, we remove your total travel footprint" We met Christian Møller-Holst the CEO of Goodwings at NOAH Conference 2021. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8SdKNxO1oQ
