A global agency named Atmospheric recently announced itself with a billboard ad in central London that stated: “The climate is changing. Business shouldn’t have to.” The agency, created by Glimpse, Utopia Bureau and artist Oli Frost, isn’t a real agency. Its mission is to shine an unforgiving spotlight on the very real advertising agencies that make loads of money from greenwashing some of the biggest polluters on the planet. Atmospheric has now launched a pitch for Saudi @Aramco, the biggest and most profitable oil company in the world. The pitch was announced after the investigative climate journalism site DeSmog revealed that the American global advertising network McCann was repitching for the Saudi Aramco deal. Check out the website. It’s great! https://www.atmospheric.agency

Oli Frost is a British musician, who creates "novelty songs about the climate crisis". He has 80.2K followers on Instagram and 11.2K on TikTok. He speaks (actually sings) to his audience in a straightforward yet creative manner and deserves credit for creating awareness about the climate crisis. Our takeaway can be, "no one can do everything, but everyone can do SOMETHING!". https://olifro.st/

The fact that Atmospheric has launched a pitch for Saudi Aramco, the largest oil company in the world, adds another layer of irony. Cautious optimism.
