Climate love

A fun and interesting game to learn about climate change

Yesterday, in Stockholm, I participated in a very interesting and fun event: a Climate Fresk workshop. The Climate Fresk association was created in 2018 by Cédric Ringenbach, with the goal to spread awareness of climate change through an interactive, fun, and science-based game: the Climate Fresk. The aim of this organization (and of yesterday's event) is to educate people on climate change and to publicize climate science in order to give citizens the tools to start acting on the climate crisis. They not only train individuals, but also universities, companies, and politicians... and are present in 50 countries! By training participants to become Climate Fresk facilitators themselves, later on, this organization’s ambition is to create a chain of actors with exponential growth, to quickly relay this quality climate education, and reach the social tipping point that will allow the turn towards a low-carbon world. Don't you think it is a good enough reason for them to receive climate love? I recommend you to go check on what they are doing (and why not register to participate in one of their workshops) 💚 Read more: https://climatefresk.org/

The approach of spreading knowledge about climate science across various sectors, from individuals to universities, companies, and politicians, is crucial. It's through these collective efforts and shared understanding that real https://subwaysurfersgame.io change can be catalyzed. The ambition to create a domino effect of informed actors leading to a social tipping point is a brilliant strategy to accelerate the shift toward a low-carbon world.

Nice that you joined @marine_stephan ! I can really recommend everyone to participate in a Climate Fresk workshop some time! And afterwards maybe become a facilitator so that you can host these workshops yourself :) I'm a facilitator since ca a year. I'm in the picture - closest to the photographer 😊 Check out the website climatefresk.org for more info - we have workshops almost all over the world, and online as well.

@the_climate_fresk The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research developed the board game Keep Cool, which was released in November 2004 by Spieltrieb, a German firm. https://slopegameonline.io

Such forams and workshops are very important and key, particularly climate related; I would love to join such a session,or rather spread wings to my country,

@reagan_songbird I really believe it is a great tool to educate people on climate change, and you leave the workshop 1) knowing in details about the climate crisis 2) ready to act on it
