Changing habits may be hard sometimes, but it is a passing sensation. We can get used to not doing a lot of stuff that we once enjoyed doing. After doing away with an old habit we way even think - how could I smoke som much? How could I not enjoy taking walks? How could I throw away 30% of the food I buy? How could a ride my 1300 kg car to get a 150 gram hamburger and some french fries. Changing planet is more difficult than changing habits. And I actually like my planet. So if prefer to change some habits.

I got arrested back in the 1980s when warships with nukes missiles came to our harbour. I had to do what I could to help bend the human curve of destructiveness but there is still more than enough crazy ideas out there. Taking non-violence and passive resistance training helps to reduce reactivity and informs decisions and gives breadth and capacity. It is very important training. I hope this makes sense to you too: The fear ‘out there’ traps energy inside people and create a form of paralysis. Exercising choice unsticks energy. It is empowering to take action when you can’t retreat further inside. We all see it’s time to lean into the truth with our whole self to stop our disconnect to what is happening to-us/by-us. This is a complex integrated ecosystem. Time to wake up and get hungry for the truth and not for more sugary coatings on the reality we are in. The sooner we act the less we will have lost forever and the more likely we can rewild and reclaim our place in proper relationship. It will take a willingness to let go of false security and build a real one. We must preserve the planet’s integrity and stop the rape of her resources. It has been a violence against all life, including against our own species. Our roots of compassion must spread and intermingle all over the planet and hold this preciousness in love. Any boundary we perceive is created by our thoughts of separation and the time for reconciliation is now. This is it and the call is resounding.
