Being a fast-fashion company releasing 500 (!) new items per day seems – to be honest – a bit out of fashion. I know this is your business model. Selling extremely cheap throw-away clothes to young people has made you very popular. Today. But what about tomorrow? What about sustainability? This kind of information is nowhere to be found on your website, and it comes as no surprise that you have received the lowest possible score of ”We Avoid” by the fashion rating platform Good On You. Dear Shein, you have the power to turn all this around. Instead of flooding the planet with unethical, throw-away fashion, you could change your business model and become part of the solution. Instead of tricking young people to buy more and more clothes that will just pile up in their drawers, you could influence them to buy smarter. If you really love your clients – like you say you do – you could help them build a future they could look forward to, instead of deliberately creating one they will have to fear.
