Thank you so much Sarah for introducing The Week to this amazing community. Indeed, we launched The Week 6 months ago after 3 years of testing and already 11 000 people have gone through the experience in Europe and the US. We have started The Week because we believed in the 2 following ideas: - We believe we need everyone, and especially the ones who are not already involved and active on the topic to have an emotional understanding of the environmental crisis if we want to reach a social tipping point - We believe change happens through deep and intimate conversations with the people we know and love With this in mind, we have created The Week as a very simple and accessible tool for every person who wants to initiate these deep conversations with their loved ones, colleagues, friends... The Earth's ecological balance and the interconnected systems that govern it are complex and not fully understood. However, as humans, we have a responsibility to research and understand these systems to ensure that we are not disrupting the delicate balance that sustains life on Earth. Environmental engineering plays a crucial role in this effort, as it seeks to develop sustainable solutions to the environmental challenges facing our planet. By understanding the Earth's mechanical system, we can develop strategies to protect and preserve our natural resources while still meeting the needs of a growing global population. It is essential that we continue to invest in research and development to better understand the Earth's ecological balance and work towards a more sustainable future highlighting the importance of studying and understanding the Earth's mechanical system.
