Thank you very much for the highlight! We are glad our initiative is resonating with many people! While searching for an eco-friendly leather bag many years ago, we realized how destructive the leather industry can be. We set off to find an alternative. An alternative that would give us the option to feel good about our products and to know we are – instead of harming the planet – giving back to it. This is why we use a 100% vegan leather alternative made from the residue from the apple juice industry. We wanted to repurpose materials that otherwise would be thrown away – instead of further limiting resources and adding to the waste. We are constantly striving to change the trajectory and impact of the leather market – especially its production. By combining quality, design and sustainability we hope to popularize the use of sustainable leather-like materials as well as raise awareness about the many negative aspects of conventional leather production – and thus hopefully contribute to a healthier future.

I have hear the apple leather used for making product like dog collars and harnesses. Would like to see the move away from animals as products👍 Hope they can collect waste apples as would not want huge tree farms like what happened with palm trees growing to furnish this, but it sounds very promising!
