Jeff Bezos minutes in zero gravity produced up to 300 tons of carbon emissions into the upper atmosphere. Space tourism could satisfy the rich 1% need for some extra excitement, but its not only pricy for the rich but also for the environment. This is not scientific progress. Emissions into the upper atmosphere stays longer and contribute more to the greenhouse effect than emissions closer to earth. Rich people of the world should use their resources for good instead of mindlessly causing more emissions for their own entertainment. How long would it take individuals to save 300 tons of carbon emissions, and why should individuals have to save that amount for 10 minutes 10 seconds, which has undone so much by the very same individuals.
