Magnet Ride’s pitch: Road traffic and the number of unused cars need to be reduced fast and in large numbers as an important solution to stop global warming. Our new app “Magnet Rides” makes it easy and cheap to share cars and go where you want without owning your own car. The secret is that we make it possible for private drivers to drive anyone and getting paid for the costs. It's as easy as taxi or Uber. We charge a small monthly fee from the passengers only, and they pay an agreed cost for the ride to the driver. The app is easily scalable to new markets, especially within the EU, and needs no big investments apart from marketing as we are not in charge of the drivers, their cars, or the ride payments.
