How does Azelio's TES.POD long-duration storage technology work?

Azelio has developed a long-duration energy storage technology, TES.POD, that provides affordable electricity and usable heat for all hours of the day, with zero emissions.

Azelio’s system charges with energy from renewable sources such as solar PV and stores the energy as heat in recycled aluminium. The heat is dispatched from the storage on demand to a Stirling engine, supplying combined heat and power at a total efficiency of up to 90%

A scalable and easy to install solution, the TES.POD's versatility aims to benefit residential communities and public services with no access to electricity, or those on the fringe of grid locations, and provide a reliable platform for the sustainable growth of industries.
