Petra Palmén is one of members that pushed for Friskis & Svettis to stop flying, and her work has now resulted in a decision from the swedish training association Friskis & Svettis to only arrange sustainable training trips, no more flights!
- This is an important signal to society that aviation is not sustainable and it shows a strong leadership of Friskis & Svettis, says Petra. They dared to make an awkward decision today but which in the long run is the only right way.
Friskis & Svettis consists of a national organization and currently 159 local Friskis & Svettis associations with over half a million members.
