Hey guys, we won the Planet Hero Award 2022! 🎉 A huge milestone for our ForTomorrow team. Thank you to everyone who supported us by voting!
🍀 What does the Planet Hero Award mean to us as ForTomorrow?
With the Planet Hero Award, we will receive 90,000 euros. We will use this amount to effectively expand ForTomorrow as a brand. We are also pleased to be working together with Zurich Group Germany. Together we are driving climate protection forward in Europe!
🏆 What should you know about the Planet Hero Award?
The Planet Hero Award was launched in 2021 by Zurich Group Germany. The patron of the award is climate ambassador and round the world sailor Boris Herrmann with his team Malizia. The prize is awarded for outstanding climate-promoting initiatives. The aim of the Planet Hero Award is to value and promote commitments that contribute to limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees, promoting biodiversity and protecting the oceans. The prize is endowed with up to 100,000 euros. Cool extra: for each winning project, 100 trees will be planted in the Zurich Forest.
🙌 The entire ForTomorrow team is now looking forward to using this momentum effectively. The prize brings us a good deal closer to shaping a 1.5-degree-compatible Europe!
