We need these signals that there is innovation happening on the ground so let's start by getting rid of the harmful fossil fuels subsidies in agriculture. Fossil fuels subsidies are percolating into other sectors including agriculture. It's an obvious choice we have to stop steering the economy towards fossil fuels. It's time to stop working against ourselves and phase out inefficient fossil fuels. There is a huge environmental impact and we have we don't have time. We need to do this now these subsidies are not benefiting to the right people. We can reinvest the money from fossil fuel subsidies into clean energy. How we scale up the green energy revolution. So the more players we consume, the more fossil fuels we're consuming and we use these subsidies to incentivize the production of fossil fuels for increasing the supply of plastic speedsters all move a lot faster further together. #wedonthavetime #climatechange #fossilfuels

General Elections 2024 in Pakistan: A Climate Warning!! A total of 49,600 trees were cut down to produce 2,070 tons of paper for the 2024 general election ballot papers, which was sequestering 8,266 tons of carbon from the atmosphere annually, as 6 trees absorb one ton of carbon from the atmosphere annually. And if we can change it from paper to EVM, the scenario might be very different from the existing one. Stop cutting trees.

Due to alarming increase in population and rapid industrialization, drinking water quality is being deteriorated day by day in Pakistan. About 20% of the whole population of Pakistan has access to safe drinking water. The remaining 80% of population is forced to use unsafe drinking water due to the scarcity of safe and healthy drinking water sources. The primary source of contamination is sewerage (fecal) which is extensively discharged into drinking water system supplies. Secondary source of pollution is the disposal of toxic chemicals from industrial effluents, pesticides, and fertilizers from agriculture sources into the water bodies. There is immediate need to take protective measures and treatment technologies to overcome unhygienic condition of drinking water supplies in different areas of Pakistan. Let us change the scenario!! Water security can be achieved by following the few guidelines given here in above picture.

Climate Action: Urgent Need We need all hands on deck for faster, bolder climate action. A window of opportunity remains open but only a narrow shaft of light remains. The global climate fight will be won or lost in this crucial decade on our watch. And one thing is certain: those that give up are sure to lose. So let's fight together and let's win.

Supplies have begun to arrive from Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, but Pakistan’s government is right to expect more – especially from the rich western nations that bear the greatest responsibility for global heating. Pakistan has more glaciers – 7,532 – than anywhere on Earth outside the polar regions, and is thus one of the countries most endangered by fossil fuel use and the temperature rises and other extreme weather that it causes. This week, the International Monetary Fund has approved a $1.1 billion loan to Pakistan, as deadly flooding threaten the South Asian nation’s economy and lives. The funds will be key to stabilizing Pakistan’s economy and debt payment after surging energy costs eroded the nation’s foreign-exchange reserves and stoked Asia’s second-fastest inflation. Climate finance, as this form of support is known, was among the unfinished business of the COP 26 last year. The principle underlying it goes beyond disaster relief or aid. Instead, the transfer of wealth built up over centuries of fossil fuel extraction is meant to enable a global transition away from carbon and towards a sustainable way of life. Pakistan’s devastation is a grim reminder of what is at stake... This is a good step from the IMF, even though the idea of a debt, in the shape of a loan, makes me wonder about the ethical aspect of this procedure : should the Global South have any debt related to climate symptoms they face due to the West? My answer is that this is unethical. Still, the IMF deserves a Climate Love for their efforts to avoid a collapse of Pakistan in the short-term, and providing resources they have to support the country. But if we are to talk about climate debt, I believe this should be targeted to the polluters themselves.
