Global plastic consumption has skyrocketed during the past decades, causing a severe threat to the ocean, nature, and society. Immediate and collective action is needed to change the tide. We believe that the solution lies in reducing plastic consumption, improve waste management, and large-scale cleanup solutions.
ReSea Project was founded to make it easier for companies to help clean up oceans and rivers by removing plastic debris and benefit from their commitment. By creating a movement of responsible companies, we are fighting to stop the devastating effect plastic pollution has on our planet and society.
Our cleanup missions are carried out by local communities in Indonesia. For every 8 euro companies invest, removes 1 kg of plastic from oceans and rivers (equivalent to 50 plastic bottles (500 ml), it ensure fair compensation to our cleanup team to provide better living conditions for themselves and their families, we raise awareness, and support the circular economy.
ReSea Project offers a fully transparent, traceable, and scalable cleanup solution. As our movement grows, so does our impact. We aspire to establish our cleanup ecosystems the worst plastic polluted coastal and river areas in Indonesia and abroad, and as just the second only organization with a certified cleanup process after the DNV standard for reclaimed plastic from oceans and rivers, companies can support our mission with confidence, knowing that their involvement help fights the ocean plastic crisis.
