Paul Stevers, Co-founder, ClimateSAN, President, Think Renewables Group and Chairman, CharityHelp International.
In 2014, I founded Think Renewables Group to help coordinate the operations of my various companies, further develop our group’s technologies and services and raise money to scale-up our operations. In 2018, I co-founded Climate Solutions Advancement Network (ClimateSAN), which facilitates investment in solutions that mitigate and/or adapt to climate change (Climate Solutions) and supports initiatives to encourage action on climate change.
After learning that the current levels of action to limit greenhouse gases emissions is having virtually no effect in reducing the rate of rise of these gases in the atmosphere (https://gml.noaa.gov/ccgg/trends/ ), I have become focused on helping to build broad-based support for very large scale action on climate change. This includes creating awareness about how security experts can help “bridge the gap between believers and doubters” on the need for action on climate change on a sufficiently large-scale.
