Trees are a key instrument in decarbonization and what Miti Alliance is doing in regarding the same is worth a big up. Also educating on how to take care for the trees is a plus since it's not just about planting but growing the tree🤝🏻 Big up to you #Miti Alliance

Trees are the earth's kidneys to cleanse and purify acting as carbon sequesters and sinks. My Climate Love today as we focus on DECARBONIZATION goes to MIti Alliance. Your initiative on training and raising awareness on sustainability is great recognised. The idea on majoring on Indeginous tree species is remarkable. Quite commendable. #thegreenchristian #HubCOP27 #wecandoit #wedonthavetime

Our sole intention is to empower the next generation with knowledge & skills of all available solutions that can help in restoration of our forests. The Miyawaki Technique is one of those methods that we can share to scale efforts to regenerate mini forests around our communities to green our urban and rural spaces. Kenya needs you and the World 🌍 needs you even more. We are seeking grants to do similar projects in this community to transform and restore the environment. We hope this time-lapse video inspires many more to action : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV0XfpgKQUw&t=13s

The success story is quite an inspiration as the effort put therein...The disparity in those pics resemble those of JustDigIt which tell of the successful nature based regenerative measures they've put in place over the years in Kenya and Tanzania. Kudos @MitiAlliance

Miti alliance organization has partnered with team 365 football team by providing jerseys to the team, through the partnership the organization will help influence youths towards responsible living within the community and also how they relate with nature. Sports is one great avenue that if well exploited can be able to influence a lot of people especially youths to embrace sustainable lifestyle, this will promote environment conservation building capacity to remedy effects of climate change. The effort by Miti alliance to spearhead such is an initiative is commendable and a great challenge to explore ways through which we can engage with other people especially the youths to influence them in taking care of mother nature https://youtube.com/shorts/-f1nKBWKyW4?feature=share

Climate change is definitely real going by the effects that are no doubt so graveous. It has been castigated much by the high rate of pollution since the pre-industrial era and have been worsened by the high rate of deforestation.Trees are known to be the most natural and efficient carbon sequestrators and so having forests such as the Amazon vastly cleared, global warming is thus definitely rampant. The need for agricultural land, settlement and development space have contributed largely to the cutting down of trees and with the continued devouring of the precious commodity, that's where the thought and opportunity to plant back to ensure a substantial tree cover comes through for Mitialliance Kenya. The organization headed by Michael Waiyaki (pictured below) has indeed walked a great tree planting journey that has tagged along school going children, campus students, government leaders and so many more in their will to accomplish their regreening mission in the country. Michael understands very well that we must be bold and decisive in our #ClimateAction. If we do not act fast and together, the consequences of our inaction will go far beyond state borders and will harshly affect our planet and the future generations. https://instagram.com/mitialliance?utm_medium=copy_link https://www.miti.co.ke/mission-1
