I am an avid bird watcher who started caring about the environment when I started reading about the North American birds that have since gone extinct due to colonization. Examples like the Passenger Pigeon and the Ivory Billed Woodpecker are all gone due to human interference, and I want to make a difference so that the next generation has the same chance to see the same birds as I have in my lifetime.
