Repairing things has become a hobby to me. Makes you feel so much better than throwing away and buying new. I am now also much more willing and happier to pay another person to repair my things than before.

Unfortunately, I often find that the products cannot be repaired at home, especially without professional tools and methods. When our washing machine broke down, there was a service that said clearly: -they wouldn't come because the main panel needed to replace, that wasn't economical for them and also not for me. Their advice was to throw it away. My opinion is that we need to put them under pressure the manufacturers. The way to produce durable consumer goods for the market. What do I see now? Products designed in such a way that 1. even the specialist service is not willing to repair them 2. the worst possible materials are installed/used due to the intended and rapid depreciation. The solution to fixing this kind of problem can be the design and mass production of physically modular products. If a part in a module breaks down, the assembly process length can be prevented by replacing a whole module. The affected module can be reused after repair. This is what I mean by the real modular structure. The modular build-up can be practical from a toaster to a refrigerator, from a washing machine to a truck. Only on the consumer side should strong messages be formulated towards manufacturers. I would buy a product, even a phone, that can be used for teen years or even longer.
