Green Leone was established to address the pressing environmental challenges faced by Sierra Leone. Our community is increasingly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change, such as deforestation, soil degradation, urbanization, and pollution. We believe that empowering the youth and fostering community involvement is crucial in combating these issues and building a sustainable future.
What We Seek to Achieve
Our primary goals are to:
- Raise environmental awareness and education among the youth and the community.
- Promote sustainable practices and conservation efforts to protect our natural resources.
- Advocate for stronger environmental policies and actions at local and national levels.
- Empower young people to become leaders and active participants in environmental stewardship.
