Farzana Faruk Jhumu(She/Her) is a climate activist from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She co-founded Kaathpencil, an organization for teaching unprivileged children in her area who have to move to the city because of climate disasters. She is the youth advocate of UNICEF Bangladesh. She is a youth advisory group member for UNDP Asia-Pacific regional office. She is an associate trainer with the Global Platform Bangladesh, where she trains the youth on social movements, especially climate movements. She coordinates with Fridays for Future MAPA(Most Affected People and Areas) and Fridays for Future International. She is also working on promoting the Fossil Fuel Nonproliferation Treaty. She is a member of the feminist action coalition for climate justice with UN women. She is currently working with 350 Bangladesh to campaign for a green new deal in Bangladesh. She has joined COP26 and Stockholm+50 as a civil society observer and COP27 as a UN observer.
