He believes that if we improve our relationship with ourselves, we can advance in the world, have stronger relationships with others, and with the earth. Within this intersection and with these interests, he spends his time leading purpose-driven teams, designing educational programmes, running strategic thinking workshops, public speaking, activating communities, mobilising volunteers, creating learning communities, coaching individuals and organising events. 🌱 Next up on the list of 2021s Green Warriors is Jack Sim 🚽 ✨ Jack Sim is a Singaporean-born man who isn’t your typical rags-to-riches story. In 2001, he set up a global non-profit organisation that aims to enhance toilets and sanitation worldwide: the World Toilet Organisation (WTO) 🚽 He also founded the Base of the Pyramid Hub, which is a platform that enhances cross-sectoral collaboration and social entrepreneurship in service of the world’s poorest. I hail Mr Jack with praises for the initiative.proper sanitation is truly a area of concern since that translates to proper hygiene and in turn good health..the real picture of deteriorated sanitation is well pictured in slums in most poor countries that turn to flying toilets "use of polythene bags and throwing the load away senselessly"..how i wish his work could be felt in Kenyan slums.

Today we’re be celebrating the work of Isaias Hernandez for creating a safe and accessible space on the internet for environmental education. - ✊🏼 Isaias grew up in a highly polluted Los Angeles neighbourhood, which pushed him to pursue environmental science in college, to learn about how to support his community who was suffering from environmental injustices. At UC Berkeley, he collaborated with student groups to raise awareness on the diversity of voices in the environmental movement. After graduating, he co-founded Alluvia Magazine, an environmental magazine that highlights BIPOC environmentalists through climate justice storytelling. - ✊🏼 These events led to him wanting to create @QueerBrownVegan, an educational resource and safe space that focuses on intersectionality and justice while describing environmental and sustainability terminologies in a straightforward manner. - 🐾 Little Green Steps: it’s time to get comfortable with questioning old ideologies and belief systems.
