Deedstack powers climate collaboration between businesses and consumers (B2C), so they can take climate action – together – to accelerate action & impact. This video shows what we are building- in 60 seconds The Climate Action Gap Today, businesses and consumers don’t work together to scale up climate action, which means less action gets done. Deedstack is building the platform to fix that, so action becomes more commonplace and scales up fast. Closing The Gap We use new technology to close the action gap and make collaboration, action, and impact, trusted and transparent. This way action can be packaged, shared, and collected in new ways – it can even embed into products and services. https://youtu.be/Qro2R2ol_y8

We made this paper model to show how new tech can connect businesses and consumers around climate action and SDGs. Not shown is the blockchain tech that powers it. We're finding that simple little models like this help folks understand concepts fast.

Mastercard plans to build a new sustainability lab in Sweden to explore ways to integrate sustainability into shopping experiences between businesses and consumers. In the article announcing the labs formation, Mastercard's Chief Sustainability Officer, Kristina Kloberdanz, noted: “As we continue to build a more sustainable digital economy, the Sustainability Innovation Lab will enable us to co-create a robust portfolio of environmentally friendly solutions, uniting everyone – businesses and consumers alike – in climate action.” Mastercard - with this announcement, their work with Doconomy (Sweden), and via the climate tools they are building - seem to be headed in an encouraging direction. @Timberland is soon to launch a global, circular, return program for people to bring back used outdoor gear to reuse or recycle. We just heard about the program and pulled our Timberlands from the bin (they were literally waiting to be thrown out). Look how smooth those soles are! Their effort in this area- in addition to their advanced work with regenerative supply chains - suggests they are fast becoming an inspiring leader for others, and they are turning sustainable action into a collaborative business-to-consumer (B2C) activity. We'll be returning our boots to Timberland once the program is active, and we'll share our return experience with you here, and on Twitter. More about the Timberland initiative can be found here: https://footwearnews.com/2021/business/sustainability/timberland-take-back-program-circularity-timberloop-trekker-1203154490/ Picture: DeedStack, June 29, 2021 Boulder, CO
