The Historic city of Yazd in Iran, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is an outstanding example of how Ancient Civilizations implemented Nature Based Solutions in their Architecture. Before fossil-fuel-powered air-conditioning was available, people living in harsh climates had nothing but natural means to control the interior temperature. Because of generations of adaptations to its desert surroundings, the city has developed one of the world's most innovative nature-based air-conditioning systems. Their system was so well engineered that it is still working today after thousands of years. So how does it work? Wind Towers, also known as Wind Cathers or Badgir (in Farsi), were engineered to catch the cool breeze from higher altitudes. The towers are connected to an underground ventilation network, where the air is cooled down naturally to comfortable indoor temperatures before entering the buildings. This is possible because the temperatures under the ground are much lower than above ground. This system operated so well that it later evolved to produce and store ice in the desert without consuming energy. For much of the 20th century, global conflicts and industrialization have come at the expense of human and nature's well-being. Today, we face the consequences of a global energy crisis, rising living expenses, extreme weather events, loss of biodiversity, and environmental pollution. To secure a more resilient future and protect our increasingly fragile environment, we must find new ways for humans to live in harmony with nature. This reality demands a total transformation of human living, one that views humans and nature as complementary, not opposing forces. Through the Science of Biotonomy, we learn how to infuse the intellect of nature in Architecture to develop Autonomous Buildings that will encourage humanity and the natural world to thrive as one.

We are extremely excited to finally finish the construction of the first hydroponic Vertical Garden in the city center of Malaga, Spain. This vertical ecosystem is 100 m2 and home to over 2,500 plants from 18 different varieties of species. This Vertical Ecosystem will: - Produce the necessary oxygen for 100 people a year - Absorb 230 kg of CO2, 13 kg of dust, 65 tons of harmful gases, and 20 kg of heavy metals - Function as natural insulation & reduce the energy consumption of the building - Reduce 40% of the noise from the street - Increase urban biodiversity, with plants birds, and pollinators - Strengthen the identity of Malaga as a unique and innovative city - Consume nearly zero fresh water, as it reuses the grey water from the building. We are incredibly grateful to the European Commission for funding this project. We hope that this project can serve as inspiration for more projects to take action toward improving the ecological wellbeing of the planet. #Biotonomy #NatureBasedSolutions #Verticalgarden #malaga

Construction is usually one of the most polluting activities with a very high carbon footprint, let alone the footprint of the running of a household. Biotonomy is solution the world needs at the moment. It is a holistic & nature-based approach for buildings & cities to address the climate and biodiversity emergency. Their nature based design principles help to: 1 - Eliminate carbon emissions during the operation phase. 2 - Reduce operating cost with more than 95 % 3 - Minimize the energy consumption for heating & cooling up to 100%. 4 - Decrease water consumption up to 75 % 5 - Reuse wastewater for indoor food production & restoring ecosystems 6 - Provide organic food & clean water security Check them out: https://www.biotonomy.com/about

Hi all, and a big thank you for recognizing our company for the work that we do. We are on a constant mission to change the way we live on this planet and the footprint we are leaving on this planet. The future of architecture should be about developing & designing ecosystems, not structures. We are a global company that puts a lot of value in educating society on building sustainable and autonomous homes with Nature-Based Solutions. This is why we are launching Biotonomy Academy in the coming month. Stay tuned and be a part of our Journey.

I create different projects. And I try to put my whole soul into every project. I recently got acquainted with the best fonts https://blog.depositphotos.com/free-minimalistic-fonts.html I think now my projects will be even more interesting and creative.

@Victor Erik Ramos same! a house like that anywhere.
Write or agree to climate reviews to make businesses and world leaders act. It’s easy and it works.
Certified accounts actively looking for your opinion on their climate impact.
One tree is planted for every climate review written to an organization that is Open for Climate Dialogue™.
