TotalEnergies: STOP USING SPORTS TO CLEAN UP YOUR DIRTY, OILY BUSINESS IN AFRICA (AFCON)

TotalEnergies is sponsoring Africa’s biggest sports tournament, AFCON. They pretend to care about football and Africa, while deepening the climate crisis and impoverishing thousands of Africans with their fossil fuel projects. THEY SHOULD STOP GREENWASHING. All of us in Africa are not blind, perhaps TotalEnergies presume we are blind. And if indeed we can see and perceive the pertinent detriments and inevitable danger to planetary life, then LET'S SPEAK UP AND OUT 🗣️🗣️🗣️. SYMPHONY OF VOICES WILL INDEED COMPEL ACTIONS. AT LEAST NATURE WILL RECORD THAT WE DID SOMETHING FOR HER WITHIN OUR CAPACITY. Here is a YouTube video from Green Peace Africa 💚 telling TotalEnergies the truth in the ground. https://youtu.be/ZYVewM3Ogrs?si=m_8w_yL33U9vzFzq

Using sports events to promote a company's controversial business practices is unethical and should be called out. TotalEnergies needs to be held accountable for its actions in Africa.
