As a conclusion of the COP26 summit, the Glasgow Climate Pact has been signed. According to the pact, financial organisations controlling $130tn agreed to back "clean" technology, such as renewable energy, and direct finance away from fossil fuel-burning industries. Global finance will support technologies that lower and eradicate carbon emissions, and away from "brown holdings" of investments in coal, oil and gas. The aim of the initiative chaired by former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney is to change the plumbing of the whole financial system forever. We here at Convert Carbon are a step ahead the game, already started playing by these rules before they were considered. Our project will easily make the transition from a "printing" money financial system to a scan QR code type. How? It's easy: An person decides to recycle. He/she needs to download our app and then goes to our RVM (reverse vending machine). They recycle and after the process is finished, a QR code will be generated. Going to back to the app, they have to just scan the QR code and the amount of CRB tokens will be in an instant in their Carbon wallets in the app. The app will be connected to various CEX (Centralized exchanges) and DEX (Decentralized exchanges). One could decide for themselves if they should hold, sell, stake or even buy more CRB. In this way we are looking to eliminate the printing of money, save the planet through recycling, eliminating as much CO2 out of the atmosphere as we can and educating individuals to recycle more often as the rewards are instant and worth the effort. On top of that, we hope we could make governments, at least at a local level and maybe central level to cope with respecting the targets of recycling. Also, we can create statistics and track waste using the blockchain technology.
