•
•
36 w
@gorffly_mokua they deserve all the support and encouragement they can get
•

normally it is better/cheaper to regreen in regions where this is easy and from there on expand the green also to deserts. In deserts the production of green hydrogen might be a better activity, not consuming scarce water. the UNCCD initiative is the good plan for regreening.
•
•
36 w
@kai_pohlmann Your point is viable, Producing green hydrogen in deserts could indeed be a more viable option due to the vast amounts of land available to generate electricity from solar or wind power..
•
•
36 w
@kai_pohlmann i agree but we should at least not that want to try something many thought it is impossible.., i know they are financially stable so lets just encourage them
•
•
36 w
@gorffly_mokua also having green spaces would not hurt
•
36 w
@kai_pohlmann also provide crucial habitats for diverse flora and fauna.

This is a great initiative. Best role model to other nations experiencing same weather conditions. Planting trees will not only help us but also other living creatures depending on trees.
•

@walter_lungayi Saudi have set a great precedence for others to follow, such commitments are laudable.
•
•
36 w
@walter_lungayi i am sure if this goes through and it is a success... the issue of desertification in the world will be a thing of the past
•
•
36 w
@joseph_githinji i agree this commitments are commendable .. i wish them the best
•
36 w
@walter_lungayi This restoration will likely have far-reaching benefits for local communities, including improved air and soil quality.
