Oxford city will introduce it's first fleet of 159 electric buses on its routes in September 2023.
An area from Cumnor to the west and Wheatley to the east of the city, Kidlington to the north and Sandford to the south will be served by the fleet.
Eight of the double-decker buses will be open-topped, to run on the city's sightseeing tour route.
The £82.5m scheme is being paid for by the government, the council and bus firms.

As if riding on an electric bus isn't enough,there's the open roof to enjoy the views.That's double credit.More credit is on the huge capacity given that it's a double decker...I'ld love to have such on the Kenyan roads too,the traffic jams and the smokey exhausts are really wanting.
