Chevron, Exxon seek state backing for Australia carbon capture, hydrogen projects

Chevron Corp (CVX.N) and Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N), the two largest U.S. fossil fuel companies, are seeking Australia's backing for carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen projects as they look to increase investment in a bid to slash intensity of carbon emissions.

    Easier say that you will invest in carbon capture than to actually act on climate change and STOP FOSSIL FUELS!!!!! Chevron definitely doesn't deserve a climate love

          I don't think Chevron deserves climate love. Companies like Chevron are proactively fanning the flames of the climate crisis. If they genuinely cared about carbon capture, they should cease to be an oil and gas company because that will support the planet more than their fossil fuel production.
