Free Public Transport since 2020 which lessens carbon emissions.

Since 2020, all modes of public transport - buses, trains and the tram - have been free of charge throughout Luxembourg. And with a network that is constantly adapting to the passengers' needs and the addition of the tram, this form of transport is increasingly popular with residents and visitors alike.
Free public transport is also hailed as a pillar of the small nation's strategy to reduce its carbon emissions. In Dec. 2020, the country adopted a new climate law, setting a goal of reducing carbon emissions 55% by 2030.
