🌍📢 Central Seoul was swarmed by mayflies in May 2024, creating a lot of excitement! 🦟 Typically located near the Han River, these insects have extended their range due to uncommonly high temperatures and rainfall. Specialists are concerned that the situation could deteriorate if the weather continues to be erratic. Although they don't bite or transmit diseases, they are certainly a nuisance, disrupting businesses and eateries. Authorities are working on it, examining the situation and preparing control strategies.
