Climate mentorship at Nakuru town
The Kenya Inter university environmental students Association (KIUESA) in partnership with Egerton university environmenta Association and county government of Nakuru county had a climate mentorship program in Nakuru town yesterday. It involved climate sensitization in soko mjinga ,tree planting,field trip to Njoro river and visiting children's home sharing moments of love with them . There was a visit to river Njoro which is currently dry and polluted. Hundreds of students across universities in Kenya came together to provide solutions to rehabilitate the river which dried up due to climate change and Plastic pollution. KIUESA has always been in the front line bringing together youths so that they provide solutions to the current climate crisis in Kenya and been an ambassador of climate protection. I believe they deserve a big climate love for the amazing work they do .
