🏆 Re-watch The 2022 Sustainability Awards! The Sustainability Awards, broadcast here on We Don't Have Time on October 12, brought together influential city administrators, elected officials, policy experts to celebrate the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act and to support accelerating solutions needed to meet our climate goals. Attendees at the Sustainability Awards included the Director of Public Engagement at The White House Council on Environmental Quality, Jessica Ennis; World Wildlife Foundation’s SVP on Climate Change, Marcene Mitchell; and the CEO of  Lightbridge Corporation, Seth Grae. At The Sustainability Awards, there were guests from the Arctic Basecamp, Oklo Inc., The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, The United States Department of Agriculture, the Zero Emission Transportation Association, and many others. The special moment of The Sustainability Awards was when The Director of the Loans Programs Office at the Department of Energy, Jigar Shah, was presented with a Sustainability Award for his contribution to the transition to clean energy. In his acceptance speech, guests at the Sustainability Awards listened to Jigar speak firsthand on the importance of implementing clean energy in the United States and what example that sets for other countries around the globe.
