A keen look into the future of sustainability,employment,development and growth of the country through a thick lens saw the president append a signature on a bill so crucial to achieving a considerable electricity coverage in both rural and urban set ups. This necessitated the need to make renewable sources of energy such as solar and wind equipment be exempted from taxation.
This is encouraging since it will see an increase in installation of renewable energy equipment overshadowing on-grid electrification. Already solar energy installation has gained momentum with the public and private sectors adopting this alternative.
