Religions and churches all over the world plays a big role of nourishing their followers about spiritual matters!
But recently a lot of churches in Kenya has started a great mission by protecting the environment and playing a role of tree planting, which is very commendable, one of the church with that mission is Presbyterian Church of East Africa commonly known here as (P.C.E.A) Since last year they came up with an idea of planting one million trees per year in their church compounds and their lands.
And still their national moderator of PCEA, said they have over 4.8million members, Incase every member plays a role and plant a tree, that can be a very great achievement!
What if all churches can follow this path? It can be very awesome and healthy to our planet!

Traditionally, Ethiopian Orthodox churches were surrounded by groves of old trees, which are now some of the oldest left in the country.. Great idea for providing shade and preserving biodiversity, as well as storing carbon, as long as they're protected from goats!.
