Bacteria could hold the key to reducing plastic pollution
Research reveals that 1 in 5 bacterial strains have the potential to break down plastic under specific conditions
21/10/2024 – New research by Leiden University PhD candidate Jo-Anne Verschoor reveals that almost 20% of bacterial strains studied have the ability to degrade plastic, but need a stimulus to do so. Published in the journal Communications Biology, the study suggests that some of the smallest organisms on the planet could play a crucial role in solving the problem of plastic pollution.

Any method as long as it remains environmental friendly and it will help reduce environmental degradation by plastics to zero count is accepted💯💯💯
