Haga Initiative's post

Seminar: What successes do we need to see by 2030 – politically and with companies?
Date: Thursday 26 October 2023
Time: 08.00 – 10.00
Place: Mäster Samuelsgatan 56, Stockholm (will also be live-streamed)
The seminar will take place after Professor John Hassler has submitted his analysis of how Swedish climate policy can be developed, with the background of the EU's new Fit for 55 climate legislation, to the government and before the government has presented its climate action plan. We will therefore discuss;
Why is a sharp climate policy important for companies to maintain competitiveness and jobs?
Which policy areas, which could provide large emission reductions, have not been on the table?
If Sweden does not meet the emissions reductions we have committed to the EU, what alternatives do we have? What does the road ahead look like? How does this affect companies?
