Hesla the new Tesla?

The Holthausen approach is surprisingly simple: electrolysis of water releases hydrogen gas that can be stored. If you then bring hydrogen into contact with oxygen, energy is released. And the residue? Pure water. So green gas! In addition to being a green energy source, hydrogen also appears to be the ideal energy storage for solar and wind energy, whereby all generated energy can simply be used at a later time. Extremely sustainable! Not convinced yet? At Holthausen we develop the solution of the future. We also strongly believe in battery-electric cars, but this is not the origin of the company. In 1945 the company started selling oxygen. Many other gases followed. Hydrogen was involved early on, but with unknown possibilities. Today we have found the key to this gas. We already have sweepers, buses, passenger cars and of course the Hesla. THE HESLA At the end of 2017, Holthausen showed the world what the greatest possibilities are of hydrogen. They did this by converting a beautiful Tesla. Or actually they have built a so-called 'range extender' on top of the current battery pack. With this, the lean 400 km was at least doubled and with eco consumption even the 1000 km can be achieved. This brought new prospects for the company, but also for the market. At one time, hydrogen mobility had a hip image. Into a green future together! Knowledge exchange plays a major role in this. The Holthausen Group works together with the Hanze University of Applied Sciences and has been a member of the Northern Innovation Board since 2015. Together towards a green and safe future, that is the goal. At Holthausen Groep they dream and work big. For example, together with the municipality of Groningen, they are working hard to make the city energy neutral by 2035. Holthausen: “Our vision extends far into the future. We believe in a safe living environment with enough energy for everyone. ” Holthausen Groep is pulling the cart towards a green future, who will step in? https://youtu.be/Qul7xNU7Vms

If train tracks have been electrified as have municipal buses why would it not be possible to do the same with motorways. One at a time.

Nice work and branding but, the same issue could maybe be solved easier by just electrifying highways and adapting cars to connect whilst driving. The biggest need for car battery capacity happens on highways. Connecting cars may also make self driving on highways safer.

Hydrogen is not available at all on a level that we should waste it on luxury transport.

Good idea, but is it feasible on a large scale?
